The first self-supported mountain bike race from the north to the south of Israel, across the historical landscapes of the Holy Land. Bring your bike and gear and ride, self-supported, as fast as you can to the Red Sea.

About HLC

We didn't choose the shortest or quickest route from Mt. Hermon to Eilat, but the one through the historical places and landscapes that make the country so beautiful and special.

Gravel roads, singletracks and ancient Roman roads. A route like no other: rough, painful and challenging, but also rewarding and fun.

The spirit

The self-supported spirit is the core code of the HLC. Racing keeps riders pushing their limits, but the most important element is the journey.

  1. Ride the entire route, no shortcuts or variations
  2. Self-supported: no angels, family or bystanders
  3. Keep outside intervention and social media to a minimum
  4. Show brotherhood to riders in need: it's not only about the race
  5. Respect Nature and Parks Authority rules: don't ride at night where it's prohibited
