From the Arava to the Dead Sea, through the heart of the desert

532 km from Paran in the Arava to Almog by the Dead Sea. You climb from the Arava onto the Negev Highlands and the Lotz cliffs, pass Ezuz, Shivta and Avdat, continue to Mitzpe Ramon, drop through the Small Crater to the Arava, then cross Arad and the Judean Desert to the shore of the Dead Sea, the lowest point on Earth. Resupply points are few and far apart: plan water and food ahead.
